It considers the physical and mental capabilities and limits of the worker as he or she interacts with tools, equipment, work methods, tasks and the working environment. Office Ergonomics is the branch of ergonomics dealing specifically with the office environment.

INTRODUCTION TO ERGONOMICS Ergonomics derives from two Greek words: ergon, meaning work, and nomoi, meaning natural laws, to create a word that means the science of work and a person’s relationship to that work.

Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the main provisions of OSHA 1994 for security management in the workplace as well as reviewing legislation, government policies and industry codes of practice for identifying general obligation of all parties to preserve the safety and health at work.
